Great environment for kids and anyone trying the arts. Good pace with positive reinforcement . This place you earn your belts, not buy your belts. My son loves it here. Tonight he said dad it's time to pick it up, game on. Now that's what I am talking about.

The moment I stepped foot on the mats there, I was warmly greeted by everyone at Budo Martial Arts. Jim and Charlie are the friendliest coaches and make you feel right at home. The coaches are with you all the way to support you and help you grow and learn. For BJJ or Muay Thai/MMA, I'd definitely recommend checking out this school :)

Ok, let's be completely honest here, as a woman, training jiu jitsu can be awkward at first. But Charlie has a real knack for making people feel comfortable in potentially uncomfortable situations. And subsequently, he creates a training environment with a welcoming energy full of welcoming people, both men and women. There is an immense amount of support and technical knowledge flowing through Budo, and it is invaluable to those looking to progress.

Budo Martial Arts is the best gym in the area for individuals of all skill levels to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, self defense, and Muay Thai. Charlie is an excellent instructor, who pays very close attention to making sure the studio is a clean, fun, and positive environment for both the adults and kids that attend.

BUDO has great coaches, great people, and everyone is treated like family! Charlie Vinch is top notch. He made my son feel comfortable taking the adult Muay Thai class as a 13 year old. From the moment we walked in I knew this was a good place and that Charlie was there to help everyone meet their goals. I highly recommend BUDO to anyone who wants to train at a great facility with amazing instructors that treat you like family!

I cannot even begin to express my thanks for all the coaches have done and will continue to do for my children. My children have learned to be more confident, how to protect themselves and how to make good choices, as well as learning discipline and self control. Being part of Budo means you're part of a family! Thank you to Coach Charlie and all the other amazing, knowledgble and patient coaches at Budo!

Great studio, the owner is super cool and very easy going. Classes are amazing and the teachers are extremely knowledgeable. The teachers are also very laid back and friendly. The people in the classes are awesome and it’s more of a group of friends training than it is everyone going hard and trying to hurt each other.

I had the honor of training jiu jitsu with Charlie Vinch one-on-one for two hours. He is an amazing practitioner and a super warm and welcoming person. I was visiting from out of town, and Charlie always made me feel super welcome. He was also incredibly considerate in his training with me. He is clearly in good shape and very strong, yet I could tell that he was holding back on his strength not cranking on things to make sure I was comfortable while we were training together. I can only assume that he provides this level of care and consideration to all of his students at Budo Martial Arts Studio.

Your body gets accustomed to your usual routine and you’re not getting the results you want. You know you need a challenge.

Kickboxing focuses on physical fitness and the mind-body connection. It presents a unique challenge for your body and your brain. Some of the best athletes in the world have turned to martial arts as a way of honing their physical and mental skills.

you will grow with every class!

Kickboxing Pushes Your Body to Its Peak

If you want to get into the best physical shape of your life, climbing onto a treadmill a few times a week just isn’t going to get the job done.

Kickboxing combines many forms of martial arts into a new and exciting physical challenge, toning every muscle and burning fat better than most other forms of exercise.

Not only that, Kickboxing works every aspect of physical fitness, building strength, endurance, and flexibility all at the same time.

Kickboxing Gives You the Confidence to Defend Yourself

Self-defense is as much about training as it is about strength and size. The biggest, beefiest guy in the world can still lose a fight if he’s not trained.

Kickboxing is the ultimate fighting method because it uses the best techniques from boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, and many other martial arts, combined to give you the tools you need to defend yourself in any situation.

Because Kickboxing is a competitive sport, you’ll get plenty of practice sparring and training, meaning that you’ll be ready for whatever dangers you encounter.

Kickboxing Builds Competitiveness and Confidence

Training to fight is the heart of MMA, even if you never do!

Competing against other fighters allows you the opportunity to prove that you have the strength, agility, and determination to come out on top.

The discipline required for Kickboxing training builds confidence and allows every student to walk with pride.

Kickboxing Eliminates Stress and Anxiety

Every one of us feels stress and anxiety some of the time – and constant stress is bad for your body and your mind.

Kickboxing training provides the intense, stress-relieving workout you crave. By increasing the connection between body and mind, and enforcing discipline and self-control, Kickboxing banishes stress.

The stress relief provided by Kickboxing carries over into your work life and your personal life, providing you with the outlet you need for negative emotions.
